Towering above the Saigon river, the Majestic is a French colonial hotel, built in 1925, the colonial style rooms are decorated the same and all have fantastic views, but the Saigon River rooms have the best views and well worth the small extra upgrade.
Dining at the hotel you have the choice of very good Vietnamese food or international dishes as well, but the rooftop bar is a must, especially at sunset to marvel in the sight of the lovely Saigon River with a sundowner in hand, a must in this fossil of a hotel.
