This is THE place to stay whilst you are in this tranquil highlands area, the colonial style Cameron Highlands Resort is reminiscent of the area's colonial heritage with large French doors opening out onto manicured green lawns and views of the golf course. The nostalgic rooms have an air of elegance with silk and teak furnishings creating a wonderful relaxing environment.
You can dine on a mixture of Asian dishes or delicious plates of English food, you can also take afternoon tea in the Jim Thompson Tea Room, a time honoured Cameron Highlands tradition and a little homage to Jim Thompson the silk entrepreneur who went missing from here in the 1960’s. The Cameron Highlands Resort is well worth the trip to the highlands in itself and especially as it is only a few hours from KL.
