Manila has a reputation of being over crowded, polluted, busy, noisy, chaotic and generally a place to miss but there are spots to this metropolis that will take your breath away.
From the Walled City of Intramuros with Fort Santiago, the original fortifications of the Spanish colonial rulers built in the 1570’s and the National Museum housing some of the finest relics you will see in Asia, plus there are artefacts from sunken Spanish Galleons and for the culture vultures the oldest Chinatown in the world with many excellent Chinese restaurants and tea houses best seen on a Calesas, the horse drawn carriages. Manila is worth a couple of days exploring and you will discover a more exotic side to this city.
