Half way up the Kinabatangan River is the Kinabatangan River Lodge, this rustic property is perfect for your two night stay on this amazing river. The rooms are clean and comfortable with mosquito nets and ceiling fans, the restaurant serves very good Malaysian meals in buffet style.
As this resort is further down the river you will be closer to more wildlife and more possible chances of seeing more exotic animals. Close to the resort are some well posted tracks that you can walk on without the use of a guide and maybe seeing some of the primates that inhabit this area of the forest. One of the better lodges along the river and with excellent friendly staff.
